Self-Employed
- Architected the backend for a full-stack travel-planning platform — Node.js/Express server, MongoDB Atlas integration, and RESTful API design from scratch.
- Implemented JWT-based authentication (Register, Login, protected /auth/me, Logout) with bcrypt password hashing and secure session handling.
- Designed core Mongoose schemas — User, Trip, Itinerary, Destination, and Activity — directly from product requirements.
- Built and deployed the Destinations API, migrating static frontend data into MongoDB via a custom seed script.
- Deployed backend services to Vercel and collaborated with the frontend developer to finalize REST API contracts.
